Can you rent an exotic car in Mesa or the East Valley?

Updated: July 17, 2026

Short answer

Yes. You can rent an exotic car anywhere in the East Valley. Grant Motor Group delivers its fleet to Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, and Apache Junction. Delivery is available anywhere in Scottsdale, with a delivery fee confirmed at booking; East Valley drop-offs sit just outside Scottsdale and are confirmed at booking along with the fee.

Yes, you can rent an exotic car in Mesa or anywhere else in the East Valley. Grant Motor Group is based in Scottsdale, and we bring the car to you. We deliver across the whole East Valley, which covers Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, and Apache Junction. There is no East Valley storefront you drive to. You book the car, pick a place and time, and we hand it over there. Delivery is available anywhere in Scottsdale; a delivery fee applies and is confirmed at booking. The East Valley sits just past the Scottsdale line, so an East Valley drop-off is confirmed at booking along with the fee.

How to get an exotic delivered to Mesa or the East Valley

Delivery is how an East Valley rental works, because our fleet lives in Scottsdale. You do not need to come to us. Tell us the car, the dates, and the address, and we drive it to your door. That address can be a home in Gilbert, a resort in Chandler, an office in Tempe, or a driveway in east Mesa. The handoff is contactless in the sense that we come to you, and it includes a check of the car's condition, the paperwork, and a check of your license and insurance.

Here is the one honest catch. Delivery covers anywhere in Scottsdale, including Scottsdale hotels, resorts, private homes, and Scottsdale Airport, with a delivery fee confirmed at booking. Mesa and the rest of the East Valley are outside the Scottsdale line, so delivery there is confirmed at booking along with the fee. The distance is short. Mesa borders Tempe on the west, and the drive from central Scottsdale to Mesa is only about 11 miles. We tell you the exact figure at booking, so there is no surprise on the day.

If you are flying in, note where the airports sit. Scottsdale Airport (SDL) is inside our Scottsdale delivery area. Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) is the big one most travelers use, and it is not in Scottsdale, so a PHX handoff is confirmed at booking along with the fee. Sky Harbor also puts its rental agencies in a consolidated off-terminal Rental Car Center, which travelers reach from the terminals on the free PHX Sky Train. A delivered exotic skips that whole shuttle-and-counter routine. We meet you where you land or at your first stop.

What the East Valley covers, and how close it is to our fleet

The East Valley is the cluster of cities on the southeast side of metro Phoenix, and Mesa is its anchor. Mesa is the third-most populous city in Arizona, behind only Phoenix and Tucson, with 504,258 people counted in the 2020 census. It is also physically large, spanning 138.8 square miles and stretching about 18 miles from Price Road in the west to Meridian Road in the east. So "Mesa" can mean a west-side address near Tempe or a far east address near the desert. Either way, we deliver.

Mesa borders Tempe to the west, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community to the north, Chandler and Gilbert and Queen Creek to the south, and Apache Junction to the east. Those neighbors are the rest of the East Valley, and they are all short hops from our Scottsdale base. Gilbert and Chandler each hold more than a quarter-million people, so this is a dense, spread-out part of the metro with plenty of open road on its eastern edge.

The short distance is the point. Because Scottsdale and Mesa sit next to each other, an East Valley rental is not a long-haul delivery. The car reaches you quickly, and you get the same white-glove handoff a Scottsdale customer gets.

The driving roads that make an East Valley rental worth it

The best reason to base an exotic rental in the East Valley is the roads that start right there. Two of them begin at the valley's eastern edge and run straight into open desert.

Bush Highway starts at the north end of Power Road in Mesa and runs 15.2 miles through the Tonto National Forest to the Beeline Highway (State Route 87). It crosses the Lower Salt River at the Blue Point Bridge and opened to the public back in 1934. It is a clean, flowing paved road with long sightlines, which is exactly what you want under a car like the Corvette Z06. That car's 5.5-liter LT6 V8 makes 670 horsepower with no turbos and revs to an 8,600 rpm redline you can actually use out here.

The Apache Trail (State Route 88) begins near Apache Junction on the far east side of the valley and winds up into the desert mountains beyond it. Here is the important part for an exotic. The pavement ends at Tortilla Flat, and past that point the road turns to dirt. A 5-mile unpaved section from Fish Creek Vista to near the Reavis Trailhead reopened in September 2024 after being closed since 2019, and ADOT describes that stretch as "steep and more winding and narrow than other parts of SR 88," so its condition can change quickly with weather. Enjoy the paved run to Tortilla Flat. Do not take a low, wide supercar onto the dirt. Off-road or prohibited use leaves the damage on you, so keep an exotic on the pavement where it belongs.

If you would rather cruise than carve, the East Valley also puts you close to Bartlett Reservoir and the wider Tonto National Forest, all reached by paved roads through big desert country. A high-revving car like the Porsche 911 GT3, whose 3.8-liter flat-six spins to a 9,000 rpm limit and is based on a real motorsport engine, turns even a relaxed loop into an event.

What you need to book an exotic in the East Valley

The requirements are the same wherever we deliver, so plan for them before your East Valley date. The core rules are age, a license, insurance, and a card for the security hold.

  1. Age. The minimum is 25. Drivers who are 21 can rent with prior GMG approval. Every driver needs a valid license and a clean driving record with no major violations; a DUI, reckless driving, or a recent suspension is usually disqualifying. Confirm your situation when you book. International visitors bring a valid driver's license from their home country, plus an International Driving Permit if that license is not in English.
  2. Insurance. You must show full-coverage auto insurance that is active and in your own name, with liability high enough for an exotic. We confirm the exact limit at booking. This cannot be added at pickup, and a standard personal policy often has value caps that leave a gap on a six-figure car, so check yours early.
  3. A card for the hold. We place a refundable security hold before pickup. A credit card is the best way to carry the hold; a debit hold ties up your own cash. Confirm card options when you book. The amount varies by car and is confirmed when you book. It is released after a clean return inspection.
  4. Fuel and care. Return the car with the fuel at the level you got it. You are responsible for damage while the car is in your care, billed at actual repair cost plus an administrative fee.

One local point worth knowing before you open up an exotic in the East Valley. Arizona treats going more than 20 mph over the posted limit as criminal excessive speeding, a class 3 misdemeanor, not a simple ticket. In a rental, the citation follows you, because the rental company forwards the renter's information and the ticket and any license points land on the driver. The desert roads are tempting. Keep it sane on public pavement and save the limit for a track day.

Which car should you pick?

Pick the car for the drive you are planning, and every one of these comes to your East Valley address. Here is the current fleet and daily pricing.

VehicleDaily rateGood for
BMW M2 Competition$399/dayA first performance car, tight and playful
Corvette Z06 (2025)$449/daySupercar pace, naturally aspirated V8
Porsche 911 GT3$799/dayCanyon and desert roads, a 9,000 rpm engine
McLaren 600LT$999/dayTrack-bred feel, top-exit exhausts

Ferrari 458 Italia Liberty Walk$1,499/dayPresence, a widebody look, a 9,000 rpm V8

The Lamborghini Urus S is the practical pick for a family or a group, since it seats everyone, swallows bags, and still runs 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds from 657 horsepower. The Ferrari 458 Liberty Walk is the choice when you want the whole street to look. Prices can change, so confirm the current rate when you book, and ask about the multi-day discount if you want the car for a weekend.
